Hi All, I am new to this forum so please go easy on me ha ha! Myself and my partner arrived in Melbourne at the end of January. His mother and step father are citizens in Australia and we came out here to try make a good life for ourselves as i am sure alot of you did too. We have been to two Immigration solicitors for advice but we were not 100% happy with either so we are looking further for someone else. basically my partner can apply for the remaining relative visa however i am trying to find a way that i can get a visa. I am unable to go defacto on this visa as it is not possible. I do not have a skilled job so am unable to apply for the points assessed visa......does anyone know of another way i could go about getting a visa some how for 4 years? then he can apply for citizenship and put me on it then. I am 31 and am unable to afford to go back to college nor do i want to at this stage. His parents both have their own business (Irish run B&B, Rendering Co) however the Immigration solr said i would have to prove i was in either of these feilds previously to prove i could be sponsored for these jobs.....and i wasent
