Hi folks
I posted elsewhere but this might be more appropriate for here. Hubby and I and our little son returning to Sydney Sept this year as PR's. Just wanted to see if anybody else is either in or Sydney bound? Any PR's returning with new babies? Initially my hubby will be working so we should have an income of about $90k and hoping to rent for about $550pw. I understand Sydney is not cheap and wondering if this will be enough!. We have done the maths and luxuries will be scarce but its a trade off.
Any opinions/advice welcome
Regards Pawny |

We are heading to NSW all going well. We have done the medicals and x-rays and that just waiting on a letter from a consultant as one of my kids has special needs.
We hope to be in Australia June July but hopefully before the end of the summer please God!
Where is a good place to rent and how much would you expect to pay for a four bedroomed house?
I have a child with special needs are there any good public school out there as We will not be able to afford private schooling there.
Has anyone rented theie house here as I want to have something here to fall back on if things don't work out in Australia?
We are looking at the moment in Port Mcquaire, Newcastle and Sydney and everywhere inbetween
My husband wants to get into the mines but after getting back over 80 telling him that he needs this and he needs that and some won't even look at his resume as he hasn't even got a visa yet.
He is a little down about the whole thing as the sponsorship visa he has secured does not pay very well but we will stick it out and luck might shine on us as we have to stay positive.
We are going anyway regardless and good luck to everyone else who is going out there as well
Chat soon on any up dates |
